OUR VISION
The Cameroon Youths for Jesus (CYJ) operates on a twofold vision:
To preach the gospel of
Jesus Christ and to mobilise Youths for Christian service
.Our vision is based on two scriptural foundation: Joel 2:28
and 1 John 2 :14b.
BRIEF HISTORY
CYJ was founded in 1991 by
Br. Victor MBARIKA( By then A secondary school student) .At
the early beginnings of the ministry,
Victor MBARIKA was assisted by two beloved brothers,
Julius ESUNGE
(Pioneer National Coordinator) and
Ferdinand ASSAKO. The
headquarters of the Ministry is found in Yaounde, the capital
of Cameroon. The Ministry emerged from an earnest
longing and passionate commitment to preach the gospel and
to ignite in youths a passion for souls and the zeal to
serve God. From its humble beginning, CYJ has grown in lips and bounds over
the years extending its tentacles to over seven provinces in
Cameroon.
ACTIVITIES

CYJ carries out a number of activities or programmes in a bid to achieve its
vision and goals.
Programmes organised by the Ministry range from personal
evangelism to mass crusades, seminars and conferences. CYJ
held its maiden International Youth Conference dubbed "A
Chosen Generation" on from the 21st - 27th of December 2002
at Nkolbison in the outskirts of Yaounde, the capital city
of Cameroon. Yaounde also played host to the maiden National
Conference on Evangelism which held from the 2nd - 7th of
August 2004. Essentially the Ministry focuses most of its
activities towards soul winning and enlisting
young men to serve the Lord in the days of their youth (Eccl
12: 1).

MISSIONS
In a bid to fulfill its vision of evangelism the Ministry
has provided an opportunity for members who have sensed the
call of God in their lives for missionary work to fulfill
their call. Several CYJ members have volunteered themselves
as missionaries some as missionary sponsors and others as
missionary intercessors. The National Leadership is
seriously working on an intensive short term missionary
programmes for volunteer missionaries of the Ministry. The
doors of the Ministry are wide open for Believers who will
love to fulfill the call of God for missions in Cameroon through CYJ. If
the Lord has laid in your heart to be missionary, missionary
sponsor or ministry intercessor for Cameroon through CYJ please do not
hesitate to contact us.
ADMINISTRATION
CYJ operates a well structured administrative system that
enables her to effectively and efficiently manage its huge
administrative set up. At the helm of the Ministry is the
National Coordinator (NC), who takes charge of the day to day administration and
supervision of the work nation wide. The NC is aided in his
function by the Assistant National Coordinator (ANC). The
ANC works closely with the NC in supervising the work within
the national territory. Presently, the function of National
Coordinator is assumed by

Br. FON is assisted in his duties by an Assistant National
Coordinator in the person of
Br. Emmanuel
NKABYO
The ministry has 6 directorate: the Directorate of Administration (DA), the
Directorate of Finance (DF), the Directorate of Prayers (DP);
the Directorate of Publication and
Communication (DPC), the National Programme Directorate and
the Directorate of Investment.
These directorates are in charge of coordinating the various
domains that constitute the work of the ministry: programmes
and activities; communication;
administration, Finance, projects and Intercession.
The Directorate of Prayer is in charge of overseeing the
work of intercession, which is the foundation of the
Ministry. Its has as director

NKABYO.
The National Programme Directorate
oversees the organization and ensures the effectiveness of
all major ministry programmes: Crusades,
Conferences, Seminars, Retreat etc. Recently, two new departments have been
created under this directorate: the departments of music and
that of women. The function of National Programme Director is presently
assumed by

LYONGA .
The Directorate of Administration coordinates the ministry's administrative
system. It is headed by
Br. Thomas KINGE
NJIE.
The
Directorate of Finance oversees the management of the
ministry's finances and the execution of its finance policy.
It has as Director

ENJEMA.
The Directorate of Publications and Communications is in
charge of the execution of the ministry's communication
policy and strategies. It is takes care of the ministry's
publications (newsletter, magazine, and other literature). It also produces
the Ministries Publications. It is in charge of The IMPACT
Magazine. It has as its Director,
