From its humble beginnings among secondary school students with a burning zeal for evangelism, the Cameroon Youths for Jesus (CYJ) has grown into the leading interdenominational Christian movement in Cameroon taking the message of the cross from north to south, east to west. CYJ has 3 Regions,10 Branches and 21 Evangelistic Centers in 7 out of the 10 Provinces of Cameroon. REGIONS For efficient administration and to enable the Ministry to effectively fulfill its vision and carry out its activities, the entire national territory has been structured into regions. A region brings together all the CYJ Branches and centre within a specific geographical location. The leadership of the region is in the hands of a regional coordinator. Apart of representing the National leadership and supervising the work of the Ministry, the RC is also in charge of missionary activities in the regions. CYJ currently has the following Regions/Branches: 1. South West and Littoral (Coastal) Region. The Coastal region is made up of CYJ Branches in the South West and Littoral Provinces of Cameroon. This region has 5 Branches: CYJ Buea, CYJ Tiko, CYJ Limbe, CYJ Tombel, CYJ Douala and CYJ Kumba. The leadership of this region is temporally under the National Programme Director (Br. Lucas Mosoke) while awaiting the appointment of a new regional coordinator. 2. Centre/South/East Region This region comprise CYJ Branches and evangelistic Centers in the Centre, South and East Provinces of Cameroon. These Branches include: CYJ Yaounde (in the Centre Province); CYJ Ebolowa in the (South Province) and CYJ Bertoua (in the East Province). The Regional Coordinator for the Centre/South/East Region is Br. Ngala Nicholas. 3. North West and West (Grassland) Region The Grassland Region is made up of CYJ Branches and evangelistic Centres in the North West and West Provinces of Cameroon. These Branches include: CYJ Bamenda, CYJ Bafoussam and CYJ Dschang. Sr. Yvonne Tah is the Regional Coordinator for the North West/West Region. EVANGELISTIC CENTERS An Evangelistic Centre is the basic unit of the ministry. It brings together members in a particular area who meet regularly to pray, share scriptures, and carry out evangelistic activities. CYJ has the following Evangelistic Centers: SOUTH WEST / LITTORAL REGION CYJ Great Soppo, CYJ Molyko, CYJ Bokwango, CYJ Muea, CYJ Mutengene, CYJ Tiko, CYJ Limbe, CYJ Bonaberi, CYJ Ndogpassi (Village), CYJ Douala-University Centre. NORTH WEST / WEST REGION CYJ Nkwen, CYJ Azire, CYJ Ndop, CYJ Bafut, CYJ Dschang, CYJ Bafoussam.
