Communication
is an indispensable tool in the fulfillment of the Great
Commission. It is the first thing that existed (John 1:1)
and what brought the whole world into being (Gen 1: 3-6)
. Evangelism is all about communicating the gospel of Jesus
Christ. It against this backdrop that CYJ has put in place
diverse avenues not just to communicate the message of the
cross but also keep you updated with all what is unfolding
in the ministry in our endeavour to proclaim the gospel and
mobilise youths to serve God. Prominent among these avenues
is our publications.
CYJ has a quarterly newsletter entitled
"IMPACT". This news letter is published in print
after every three months by the Directorate of Publications
and Communications.
"IMPACT"
newsletter is a tool to update partners, supporters and
friends important happenings in the ministry. It is
published quarterly and contains reports on major events
unfolding at the national, regional and branch levels of the
ministry, testimonies, an editorial and perspectives on
upcoming events.
In order to
send more regular updates on ministry activities and to meet
the needs of an ever increasing online community of members,
partners and friends, the ministry's head office has put in place a
monthly publication entitled
"A WORD IN DUE SEASON"
(AWDS).
This two-page newsletter carries a feature article from the
National Coordinator and ministry updates and other
interesting features (interviews, scripture of the month,
nuggets etc). The first edition of A WORD IN DUE SEASON was
published in July 2009. Ever since A WORD IN DUE SEASON has
become a seasonal blessing meeting readers at their various
point of need and feeding them with updates on CYJ. A WORD
IN DUE SEASON is published online at the beginning of each
